OUR STORY

We were born in Ein Karem.
Our childhood passed barefoot and naive running through the alleys of the village, in the erupting nature that embraced it and in the rooms
and corridors of our parents' house which was an open and hospitable home. Dad was the lighting designer of the Khan Theater, Mom had a fashion boutique. Underfoot their friends - actors and artists from Israel and abroad, we ran around and played.
When we had to leave, the breakup was hard. We did not stop dreaming of returning to the village, the lost paradise, which imprisoned within it our childhood and youthful memories.
Now, after many years of being desolate and abandoned, we have decided to return to our childhood home, and make it a place where we can host friends and guests in magical Ein Karem.
The result was no less than the amazing feeling that we had finally returned home.
We invite you to share this feeling with us as friends.

CHILDHOOD MEMORY

The touch of our bare feet on the concrete tiles, the touch of the hewn stone on the palm of our hands, closeness to nature, antique furniture that Dad carefully collected and a feeling that we lived in a special, different place, inspired our childhood.

LEAVE YOUR CHILD A STONE HOUSE AND AN ORCHARD OF FRUIT TREES

"Arab house" and "Arab construction" are concepts that have taken root in Israeli culture for years not only in its expression of domed spaces,, styled ironwork, arched windows, thick walls, arabesque floor tiles and stone carvings, but are first and foremost expressions of natural adaptation and integration. for its uniqueness, quality and meticulousness in everything related to the aesthetics and technique of traditional construction. In the country Arab house, “things were not created for decoration, rather for man's use, to sustain him, to bring him remedy and fill in his lack, without compromises and forgeries." (Elhanani, Abba, "Bereishit", notes 1, April 1966)

TIMELESS DECOR

During the renovation of the house we made sure to preserve and respect the functionalism and organics of rural Arab construction, based on long-standing traditions stemming from adaptation to environmental conditions and the possibilities and limitations of construction technology, with almost exclusive use of local building materials and relating to rural lifestyle.
"The uniqueness of the house is the harmony of the materials, color and texture of the interior. The dialogue between floor and walls and the soft passages give continuity and flow to the interior space. You can feel the presence of the human hand, which shaped all details. The lack of straight lines or direct angles gives an organic, artistic quality to the interior of the house "(F. Ragette, Architecture in Lebanon, Beirut, 1974).

MINIMALISM, FREEDOM AND CLEANLINESS

Freedom for us is an airy space free from the noise that pollutes the intense routine of our lives. A space devoid of artificial stimuli, with a natural beauty that allows us to revitalize. The desire to give our friends and guests a real feeling of freedom, peace, comfort and privacy is based on a delicate balance between the dominant structural elements in each space and the functional furniture, in natural and soft shades, combined with wood, in a way that complements the unique values of the building.
